Whitney Commercial Real Estate Services is pleased to announce that Commercial Real Estate Broker Austin Walker, CCIM, SIOR, has been selected to join the Board of Directors at the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Walker’s career skills in sales and leasing, project, property and asset management, financial analysis and more lend themselves well to the Board’s focus on opportunities for growth and prosperity. He began brokering in Asheville in 2003, and joined Whitney Commercial Real Estate in 2006.

In addition to his Board duties, Mr. Walker is also President of the West Asheville Business Association. Previously, he has served as a member of the NC-CCIM Chapter Board of Directors, the Chair of the Commercial Investment Division standing committee of the Asheville Board of Realtors, and the President of the Asheville Commercial Industrial Realtors Association.

Due to his expertise, Mr. Walker maintains a high transaction record and agent ranking; the Whitney Commercial team has experienced first-hand the value he brings to all his endeavors, and knows his efforts, collaborations, and perspective will greatly support his Board of Directors role.
