Kidznotes students Alan Cota-Leja (Percussionist), Kiarra Truitt-Martin (Violist), and Marcus Gee (Cellist) have been selected to participate in the National Take A Stand Festival Orchestra at Bard College in New York, August 16th – 20th.
Take A Stand is an El Sistema program developed by Bard College and the Los Angeles Philharmonic that aims to change the face of music education in the United States. Kidznotes is very proud to have three students travelling to New York to be a part of their program this year. These kids will have the opportunity to perform with other El Sistema programs from all across the nation!
