Regional Artist Project Grant
Deadline: Tuesday, October 14, 2014
Support is available to assist developing professionals in the advancement of their careers as artists. The selection criteria include artistic merit, the potential of the project to contribute to the artist’s professional growth, and the feasibility of the project itself. The Regional Artist Project Grants range from $400-$1,200. An information session will be held on Monday, October 6 from 12-1 p.m. at the Asheville Area Arts Council, located in The Grove Arcade, 1 Page Ave., Ste. 144, in Asheville. Although not required for grant submission, the session will offer instruction for completing the application, as well as some advice on presenting a positive proposal.
