Carolina Village Art Exhibit

Carolina Village is now hosting a third Invitational Art Exhibit, titled “Village Art,” at its facility on Carolina Village Road in Hendersonville. The exhibit will adorn the walls of Carolina Village’s “Main Street” area during the months, August and September. Subsequent exhibits are planned at two-month intervals.

Nineteen local artists have been selected for this show. Their work ranges from oil and acrylic paintings, pastels, watercolors, and mixed media. The subject matter is varied and is governed by whatever interests the artist. Original paintings of landscapes, portraits, florals, still life, animals, and other non-objective work may be seen. Giclee reproductions are displayed in a separate area of the facility.

This third exhibit opens on Wednesday, August 1 and runs through Friday, September 28. The public is cordially invited to view the exhibition at any time during the period and to enjoy the talents present in our area. For more information call (828) 890-5777.
