This summer, thanks to the Haywood County Arts Council, audiences in Western North Carolina need not look far for cultural opportunities.

The final concert of the Swannanoa Chamber Music Festival takes place August 2, 2015, and the 10th year of the Young Artist Series premieres August 14, 2015. Each show will highlight the unique talents of world-class performers, offering the region the chance to experience the beauty and variety of classical music.

For the final performance of the Swannanoa Chamber Music Festival 2015 season, the Haywood County Arts Council presents The Great Masters. The Jasper String Quartet, Philip Alejo, bass, and Inessa Zaretsky, piano, perform a free concert at First United Methodist Church in Waynesville.
