Haywood County Arts Council Hosts Studio Tour Artists This October

Beginning October 7, the Haywood County Arts Council (HCAC) will proudly host artists from the Haywood Art Studio Tour in the HCAC Gallery & Gifts space at 86 N. Main Street. The show will offer a sampling of work from some of the 26 local artists who will open their studios to the public Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29 from 10:00 – 5:00 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to stop in the HCAC Gallery, pick up a Haywood Art Studio Tour map and begin planning their routes to see the wonderful art Haywood County has to offer.

The 2016 Studio Tour has been organized by a dedicated group of Haywood County artists. Participants work in diverse media, including clay, fiber, wood, jewelry, glass, mixed-media, sculpture, and two-dimensional applications. The Arts Council’s Haywood Art Studio Tour Show complements the full tour, offering visitors a generous taste of what they’ll experience in late October and help them choose which studios they would like to visit.

All are invited to attend the opening reception of the Haywood Art Studio Tour exhibit at Art After Dark, October 7, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Come enjoy fine food and beautiful art at the Haywood County Arts Council’s Gallery and Gifts, 86 N. Mail Street. The Haywood Art Studio Tour Show will run from October 7 – 30.
