NEMESIS  By Brendan Reichs

Some stories have their own heartbeat, that races and pulses with every flip of the page. There is no better example of this than with NEMESIS, the first in a new series by New York Times bestselling author Brendan Reichs. Reichs’ lightning-fast pace and dynamic tension will hold readers on edge—just as it did with the highly acclaimed Virals series, co-written with blockbuster author, Kathy Reichs. Brendan Reichs’ new series evokes Orphan Black and Lord of the Flies – it’s binge-worthy reading, reminiscent of Rick Yancey and James Dashner.

Every other year on her birthday, Min is murdered by a stranger. The next day, she wakes up alone, unhurt, and without seeing any evidence that points to a crime. In the same town, Noah has been having devastating nightmares, and his world begins to shift as he realizes that some of those nightmares might be real. Together, Noah and Min are drawn into a conspiracy involving the sixty-four students of their sophomore class, and it is far darker than any murder or nightmare they could have conceived. Great for adults and YA readers, NEMESIS is a roller coaster ride of unreliable narrators and plot twists that you won’t be able to put down.

About the Author

Brendan Reichs was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. He graduated from Wake Forest University in 2000 and The George Washington University School of Law in 2006. After three long years working as a litigation attorney, he abandoned the trade to co-write the Virals series with his mother New York Times bestselling author Kathy Reichs. He lives in Charlotte with his wife, Emily, daughter, Alice, and son, Henry. He plans to keep writing novels until they drag him from his desk.
